♥ Uniqso Review ♥ I-Codi Colors of the Wind No. 24 - Blue Sky ♥ Circle Lenses on light eyes ♥

Hey cutiepies!

Here's part two of Julys Uniqso Review! I was super super sad because my favorite lenses of all times, the EOS Super Nudy Blue, hit the 11 months mark and started to get really itchy and dry, which is why I had to throw them away. You can find the super old review of them here if you are interested, but I'm just warning you, the pictures are really old. The Super Nudy Blue ones were just pretty much the largest circle lenses I own, and the color just blended so beautifully into my natural eye color, which is why I wore them all the time when I still had them. Now I had to get another pair which is similar to them, so I chose the I-Codi No. 24 Blue Sky ones. I already reviewed one pair of the I-Codi series, which were the No. 20 Melon Green (find the review here) - I worshipped their design but didn't find them super comfortable. But they were just so pretty, I wanted to give them another try - so here I am!

Short summary: What are Circle Lenses?

Circle Lenses are like usual contact lenses, just that their diameter is larger than the regular ones. Soft contact lenses are around 13,8 mm in diameter - Circle Lenses (which are btw always soft so they can contain more water) are often 14 mm, 15 mm or more. This makes your eyes look bigger and dollier. You can also play around with different designs and colours, so you have a great variety for makeup looks or cosplay characters. I personally wear them to enlarge my eyes because I think it looks cuter with the bold makeup I wear daily. Furthermore, they often have prescription, so if you're just as blind as me, you don't have to wear glasses, and they last about a year.

About Uniqso

Uniqso has a reeeally huge range of circle lenses, wigs, lashes, socks and cosplay items. They are founded in Malaysia and guide their shop since 2011. With over 800 different lenses from different brands like Kimchi, EOS, I.Fairy or Beuberry they are a big company with a lot of featured bloggers. I think they have really cheap prices and I heard that their wigs have a good quality as well. Moreover, their packaging is adorable, which is perfect for me since I love cute packagings so much. I buy my Circle Lenses from Uniqso since 2012 now and I can honestly say that they never let me down.

Review and Rating

Color and Design:
Ten out of ten. And I mean that so much, I had to write the ten out. The blue is so vibrant and the design natural... Even though the lenses have no black outer ring, but more like a dark blue outer ring (which adds a lot of naturalness points!), they make my eyes look so huge and dolly! Honestly, these are the only lenses I know which don't have a thick black outer ring but still give this effect. That's why I think they're both suitable for cosplays, as well as for daily life usage! I definitely will wear them in my daily life, as long as I have a little bit of makeup on to not look like an alien, I think these will be my new to-go lenses.

Comfiness:
So as you might have read, I already reviewed the Melon Green ones from the same series (review is here), and they weren't really comfortable. For some reason, these blue ones I just got are super comfy though! My eyes felt a little dry in the first five minutes of wearing them, but they always need a little time to get used to wearing lenses. After that I didn't feel them in my eye anymore though, and this even after 8-10 hours of usage! To compare, I always felt the Melon Green ones in my eye. It didn't burn or itch after a time, it was just a little uncomfortable. I guess circle lenses are really a little bit of roulette, you can get good ones or you can get bad ones. It's more likely to get good ones, but sometimes they are just not as comfortable as others for no reason at all. However, the Blue Sky ones are perfect though, and I can give them a 9/10 ♥ here!

Price:
$22.90 is at the upper end of Uniqsos prices for circle lenses, but I think it's totally worth it for a beautiful pair which will last you for one year!

Uniqso and Shipping:
Perfect as always. Customer service on point, always friendly and super fast in their replies. The shipping was $15 for DHL Express, which arrives in 1-2 weeks, but you can also choose DHL Global Mail which only costs $5 - but it will take around 3 weeks to arrive then!

Overall: 10/10 ♥

Little preview photo from the next upcoming review - I wear the Blue Sky Circle Lenses in there too!

So, how did you like this review? I really think I found my new favorite circle lenses, I'm so happy! They're definitely worthy successors for my EOS Super Nudy Blue. The Blue Sky's are just a little lighter and more blue than the EOS ones, and in fact I really like it. Yay!! I hope you have a great day! ♥♥♥
