Uniqso Review ♥ EOS White Mesh ♥ Halloween Circle Lenses on light blue eyes

*sorry for messy makeup*

Hey cuties!

Today I got some crazy Halloween lenses as a review for once! Halloween season started (for lots of people already in September, apparently), so I thought: what could fit better than a tiny little review about some Halloween circle lenses?
Personally, I've never celebrated Halloween in my life, which is also why I don't have any special Halloween supplies or things like fake blood or FMX makeup. But, we do what we can, and I was actually really excited to make my very first Halloween-ish look, including these lenses!

Short disclaimer: A review for the black wig I wear in this photo set can be seen here!

Short summary: What are Circle Lenses?

Circle Lenses are like usual contact lenses, just that their diameter is larger than the regular ones. Soft contact lenses are around 13,8 mm in diameter - Circle Lenses (which are btw always soft so they can contain more water) are often 14 mm, 15 mm or more. This makes your eyes look bigger and dollier. You can also play around with different designs and colours, so you have a great variety for makeup looks or cosplay characters. I personally wear them to enlarge my eyes because I think it looks cuter with the bold makeup I wear daily. Furthermore, they often have prescription, so if you're just as blind as me, you don't have to wear glasses, and they last about a year.

About Uniqso

Uniqso has a reeeally huge range of circle lenses, wigs, lashes, socks and cosplay items. They are founded in Malaysia and guide their shop since 2011. With over 800 different lenses from different brands like Kimchi, EOS, I.Fairy or Beuberry they are a big company with a lot of featured bloggers. I think they have really cheap prices and I heard that their wigs have a good quality as well. Moreover, their packaging is adorable, which is perfect for me since I love cute packagings so much. I buy my Circle Lenses from Uniqso since 2012 now and I can honestly say that they never let me down.

Color and Design:
Color... haha, what color. It's bright white! To the design: the dots won't give you a vision as if you'd see through tiny holes. Your brain is so amazing that it still will let you see a whole image even though parts of the pupil are covered; so no, you don't see everything in dots. Instead, you'll have like a grey shroud as your vision. Colors aren't as bright anymore. I honestly can't say if everything is a bit blurry as well as the lenses were only available in a 0.00 prescription. I have -3.00 usually on both eyes, so EVERYTHING was blurry for me of course xD I wore my glasses sometimes though and it didn't seem more blurry than usually for me. You have to get used to seeing everything like this.... grey and kinda colorless, but you will get used to it in time. However, if your ghost, corpse, Hinata from Naruto or for which character you will wear these lenses has glasses ... (a ghost with glasses is apparently pretty cool) .... then you'll be fine with these lenses if you have prescription. For me, I struggled a lot without my glasses ;_;
Of course you can still see where my pupil and iris is, but it wouldn't be possible to produce lenses which makes them 100% invisible without disturbing our vision.

PRO TIP: Do your makeup BEFORE putting in these lenses. Usually you shouldn't do that, but with these lenses... I struggled so, so hard to put on makeup as I didn't see anything. The greyish vision and not having glasses was just horrible. That's why my makeup turned out so super wacky for this review, so I'm really sorry!!

Comfortability:
Well... technically, the lenses were pretty comfortable. However, the grey vision is just really annoying. If you are on a Halloween Party and you're looking to experience it with ALL your senses (and not your vision being only half as good as usually), I wouldn't recommend these lenses. It was such a relief when I put off the lenses, everything seemed so clear again! 10/10 ♥ recommend if you want to appreciate all the colors in the world afterwards.

No, really, jokes aside, it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. It was okay for me to wear these lenses for a couple of hours, and people without prescription won't have as many issues as I had. I definitely recommend them for photoshootings or special Halloween or Cosplay occassions! Don't be afraid to test them though out as I think they give an awesome effect!!

Price:
$27.90 is high if you compare it to usual circle lens prices, but for a Halloween pair like this still absolutely okay.

Uniqso and Shipping:
No problems at all, everything perfect as usually! I never had any problems with Uniqso at all. I chose DHL Express, which is $15. My lenses were delivered after 1 to 1 1/2 weeks without problems with customs. If you want a cheaper shipping option, there are cheaper ones available (I believe for only $7 or even completely free shipping). They take longer to be delivered to you, but not for a complete eternity, so it's absolutely okay I think!

Overall:
Recommended for special occassions!

Fall/Winter Lip Care Tips - How to Keep Lips Soft

Hey cuties!

Today I got something special for you all, as I got the offer for a guest post on my blog. It's provided by Hannah from Perennial Relations, so I hope you'll enjoy it! And at the end of her post, I also wrote some personal tips and tricks for lip care that I use myself. Enjoy ♥

With the chillier months of the year coming with fall and winter, it is important to keep up with your beauty regimen to look and feel your best. One of the chief areas on which you might want to focus are your lips, which can easily become dry and chapped, even cracked when the temperatures dip. Here are some fall and winter care tips for keeping your lips soft.

Since fall and winter are the seasons when it grows steadily colder, you will not only want to keep warm but should stay hydrated as well. This means you should drink plenty of water. Keeping hydrated will benefit your skin, and particularly the thin, delicate skin of your lips, which will prevent chapping. Make sure to drink six to eight glasses of water per day. The recommended serving of a glass of water is eight ounces.

If you are the type of woman who enjoys wearing makeup, you should keep your lips coated with a good moisturizing lipstick. There are a number of good ones on the market, including those made by Revlon and Clinique. These are made specifically for adding essential moisture to your lips, leaving them smooth and soft.

Lip balm is also good for keeping lips soft and healthy during fall and winter. One of the best is Evolution of Smooth, a popular brand that’s become the favorite of celebrities like Britney Spears and Miley Cyrus. The company’s spheres, like this blackberry nectar EOS lip balm available at Ulta, are chock full of sheer butter, vitamin E and jojoba oil. They are dermatologist tested, hypoallergenic and perhaps best of all, free of parabens and other harmful substances. You can find these great lip balms at any drug store or store that sells cosmetics.

Exfoliating your lips is a great way to keep them healthy and soft. Many people don't realize there are exfoliators made specifically for the lips, but there are a few options available. These include sugar and oils to remove the dead skin from your lips to make way for new, smooth skin underneath. Use a toothbrush to gently scrub your lips for best results.

Some lip gloss options include vitamins E and A to keep your lips moist, which is a must in colder weather. Buxom Full-On Lip Polish is a notable product that can both improve the quality of your lips and make you look great at the same time.

Following these steps in the fall and winter months will ensure that your lips are at their very best. An additional tip is to use a humidifier at home to keep your lips moist. You will notice a remarkable difference during the cooler seasons of the year.

And another tip from me, Mew!
As Hannah already mentioned, you should use an exfoliator to keep your lips all smooth and soft.
I found multiple recipes on the internet to make an easy and cheap exfoliator yourself, and you'll most likely have all the ingredients at home already.

What you need:
Sugar, Honey and Coconut Oil!

If you don't have Coconut Oil at home yet - you need it. There's so many things you can do with it (I make hair masks with it too for example!) and a lip exfoliator is just one of them. The honey gives your lips plenty of moisture. You can also leave it out of the recipe if you don't like honey or don't have any at home, then you just use coconut oil and sugar.
The sugar is there to remove the dead skin cells from your lips, which will make them extra soft and shiny again!

Here's a quick visual guide on how to make your own lip exfoliator:

The three magic ingredients!

I took about two spoons of coconut oil (and I count the giant spoon of the oil here in the picture as one and a half). Coconut Oil is solid when it's in room temperature, but will turn liquid when it touches your skin or gets a little warmer generally.

Mix it! I put a little more sugar in from time to time, until it has a nice consistency.

Pour some honey in your mixture.

Mix it again! It should stick all together, not being too dry nor too liquid. The amount I have right there lasted me for days!

Simply rub it on your lips. You can also use a toothbrush for it as Hannah also mentioned before. It's probably better since the bristles remove dead skin cells even better, but for now my finger and the sugar do the job too!

Last step: You can wipe the product off or everything is edible, so if you want to you can just lick it off!
The immediate result is that your lips are ULTRA smooth and soft. My lips are extremely dry, so it took me two or three times until my lips got noticeably smoother... But I just did it three times in a row, which took me less then 10 minutes! After that my lips were the softest little baby butts. Apply some good lip balm after exfoliating to keep them this soft!

Okay, that's it for the tips!

I hope you liked the guest post as much as I did. I hate writing long texts, so Hannah was so awesome to make a nice little list of tips and tricks to moisturize your lips.
Fall and winter may come now!

I hope you have a great day! ♥♥♥

Uniqso Review ♥ Lens Story Lucius Grey ♥ Circle Lenses on light blue eyes

Hey cuties!

So, I got another blog post for you! I am sorry I don't post as much at the moment, but the exciting news for everyone who doesn't follow me on my Instagram: I'm moving really soon to the USA, so I am extremely stressed at the moment! I hope to go there within the next two to two and a half months. However! About the lenses:
Recently my favorite pair of the I.Fairy Lucius Grey went past their experiation date and I had to throw them away. I really wanted to get them again, and saw that there's a similar version of them on Uniqso - if not to say the same. I ordered this pair and I am excited to see if they're really 100% the same or if there's a difference!
To see my really, really old blog post of the I.Fairy version of these lenses, click here and see yourself!

Short summary: What are Circle Lenses?

I think Uniqso changed the way their little packaging boxes look like! They're smaller now, and the glass bottles aren't bubble wrapped anymore. I guess they're still safe though since the glass is rather thick and the overall packaging is bubble wrapped.

You'll always get a free lens case to every pair of circle lens you order!

I got this cute little lens case because it's my birthday tomorrow, on the 26th September! Uniqso was so awesome to include a sweet little gift for me ♥♥♥

This looks so HD, wow.....

Review and Rating

Color and Design:
The color is amaaaaziiiing, just look at it! There's nothing to complain, nothing to not love. The Lucius Grey are the most vibrant lenses I've ever owned. They definitely stand out and everyone will notice how much of amazing eyes you have! I can imagine that the effect looks awesome on darker eyes too. Of course it is nice that the color blends in so nicely with my real eye color and it will look less "natural" on dark eyes, but it will definitely stand out too and simply look amazing. 10/10 ♥

If I compare them to the I.Fairy Lucius Grey, the Lens Story ones appear a little more "dense" in color. I feel like the design reachers further into the pupil, so that they have more space for the design, as the I.Fairy ones only have a little bit of color and have a huge clear space. I hope I explained it in a way you understand it, but if you look at my old review here you'll maybe see it yourself!

Comfortability:
The lenses felt really comfortable on my eyes and I didn't have any problem with dryness, even though I wore them for 7 hours. I will only give them a 7/10 ♥ though because sometimes I just felt like something was in my eye, like I could notice that I wear lenses - which is usually not the case! It's nothing too bad though and I will still wear them during the day and probably also in my daily life.

Price:
With $17.90 they're cheaper than their "originals", the I.Fairy Lucius Grey, and they're generally on the cheapest side of lenses. For that, I'll give them a 10/10 ♥!

Uniqso and Shipping:
No issues at all, as always. I didn't have any problems at all with customs (even though I'm from Germany, and Germans probably know that our customs are really strict). I chose DHL Express shipping, which is about $15, and it arrived within 1 1/2 weeks. However, there's also cheaper shipping available which is still rather quick and less expensive!
To their customer service, they are honestly ALWAYS super friendly and quick with their replies. I think I'll always give them a 10/10 ♥!

Overall: 9/10 ♥

Cutesykink Cosplay Review ♥ Shiro No Game No Life

Hey cutiepies!

Today I want to show you the pretty cosplay I got for my baby Shiro! Cutesykink.com was nice enough to sponsor it for me, so I want to show it to you in all details! The wig and the lenses are from Uniqso and you can find the review here ♥. Disclaimer: My eyes are edited in THIS post though, because I wanted them to be more red than the lenses really were!

Cutesy Kink is a shop for a lot of different japanese fashion styles based in the UK. Summarized they sell Kawaii/Harajuku fashion, Visual Kei, Gothic, Fairy Kei, casual Lolita, Cosplay as well as cute accessories for all of these styles! So a giant shop, with the cutest stuff ever. I highly recommend checking them out ♥ I already reviewed something from them, so if you want to see the previous review, click here! ♥

The package for the Shiro cosplay included: The skirt, the top with a sailor collar, a pair of black thigh highs, the mustard colored ribbon, clear bra straps and these white... things on the left. I didn't know how to include them in the cosplay, just to demonstrate how much of a beginner I am for cosplaying. xD

Review and Rating

Quality and Size:
You can tell that the cosplay is definitely made out of a really high quality material! It seems like all cotton and it's a really thick cloth which won't fall apart or tear easily. I'm super pleased with it, because I wouldn't want it to be plastic-y or thin! Like you could see in the last picture, the skirt is like a dress and you wear the top like a jacket above it. The skirt is super stretchy so it will fit various sizes - my hip circumference is over 100cm though, which is why I had to put it on head over. Other than that, the size is just perfect for my height, which is 1,67cm (5,47ft)! I'll definitely give it a 10/10 for everything ♥! Only tip: The cosplay is really warm... I wore it while we had 35°C (95 Fahrenheit) outsides and I got REALLY warm, especially with the wig.

Similarities to the character:
It is honestly a little hard to choose Shiros colors because the whole anime is just so colorful and I feel like the colors shift a lot. But overall, the colors matched quite good! I don't know if she had black thigh highs on or blue ones, but I didn't know if she had yellow or red eyes either... It's just hard to get the right colors for her to be honest. But overall I think the outfit resembles Shiros perfectly! Even though I really often wonder what the designers thought when drawing her... Blue, purple, yellow, black, white, red eyes... The combination is just wild generally. However, 10/10 ♥!

Price:
The cosplay was 29,90€, which is a REALLY good price for the cosplay in my opinion. You get a lot of stuff - not only the skirt and top itself, but even the thigh highs, the white thingies where I still don't know what these are, and the clear bra straps! I'm definitely pleased with the price and quality comparison and give it a 10/10 ♥ too.

Cutesykink:
We handled everything over Instagram dms, which is why I can't say anything to the shipping price and handling time unfortunately! But positively: They send me the cosplay but unfortunately it got lost in the mail! It rarely ever happens, but after weeks over weeks of not receiving it they simply send me a new parcel without hesistation. This is what I call top customer service, so thank you really much for that again!!

Overall:
10/10 ♥! I didn't have a single issue!

So, how did you like my cosplay and review? Don't go harsh on me as it is my first cosplay ever, and I don't plan on doing a lot more to be honest. It was just a tiny test how much I'd like it and how I feel like doing the stuff, that lots of people pursue as their passionate hobby! I see it's not really something for me as I have had tiny troubles really getting into the character, and I was super warm and sweaty with all the makeup, costume and wig.. But for once and not doing on a regular basis, it was definitely lots of fun! *^*

Like always, feel free to ask me anything! Preferably on my Instagram (@sugar.mew) as I am the most active on there! ♥

I hope you have a great day! ♥♥♥
