These circle lenses were defect! I talked to Uniqso and they gave me a new pair. Even though the Geo Fresh Color Grey weren't in stock anymore, they sent me the Geo Fresh Color in Brown and they were super comfortable!
It can always happen that you get a defect pair. Common signs for that are irritated eyes, blurry vision, dry, burning or itchy eyes, tearing up, a little crack or something unusual on the contact lens itself. I recommend contacting Uniqso and they'll try to help you, first with a list if the lenses are really defect and/or with a replacement.

Today I got another review for circle lenses for you. I was so sad that the GEOLICA Euro Pearl Grey (click here to see my old review!) were only 3 month circle lenses, but I loved them so much. They were super natural but of an absolutely stunning grey color. That's why I tried to find just as awesome natural grey circle lenses which last 12 months. So that's what I found:

Uniqso has a reeeally huge range of circle lenses, wigs, lashes, socks and cosplay items. They are founded in Malaysia and guide their shop since 2011. With over 800 different lenses from different brands like Kimchi, EOS, I.Fairy or Beuberry they are a big company with a lot of featured bloggers. I think they have really cheap prices and I heard that their wigs have a good quality as well. Moreover, their packaging is adorable, which is perfect for me since I love cute packagings so much. I buy my Circle Lenses from Uniqso since 2012 now and I can honestly say that they never let me down.

That's what's included in your package from uniqso: A gift box with the circle lenses and a free lens case of a random color. You only have to buy the lens solution yourself and eye drops if you have eyes which tend to be dry.

They really emphasize the green spots in my eyes in this closeup. It looks really cool I think!
Review and Rating
Design and Color:
They really remind me of the Sweety Nudy Green lenses (review is here!), even though they don't have anything in common with them at all. The Sweety Nudys are currently my favorite everyday lenses, because I love how natural they are but still look huge. Unfortunately the Geo Fresh Color Grey lenses lack this dolly eye effect, because their diameter is so tiny with only 14.2mm. And I really hoped for that interesting color that the Geolica Euro Pearl lenses have, but they just look plain grey and boring to me q.q I think that's the first time I'm not really happy with the lens design and color! If you are searching for really really natural grey eyes, these might be for you, but I personally hoped for something a little more interesting. 4/10 ♥!
Comfortableness:
This is the first time I have to give a plain 0 out of 10 ♥, I am really sorry! I've never had any issue with Geo lenses at all and always considered them a really good brand, especially for beginners and who are new into the whole circle lens world. But they really let me down with these ones! The first time I tried them on I couldn't get them in in the first place, it was really hard. After cleaning them a thousand times and letting them soak in into my lens solution I tried it again and I had a blurry double vision on the left eye and my eyes were super dry, sore and got red. I thought I maybe just had a bad day, so I took them out and waited a day and tried it again. Same thing! So I waited for two more days and tried it agaiiin - but still the same. They got a little more comfortable after I cleaned them so many times, using my favorite eye drops. After wearing them for like 15 minutes I didn't feel them in my eyes anymore, but I still had a double vision on my left eye and both my eyes got a little red. This never happened to me before. You also see the redness really slighly in the closeups, but I overexpose my skin so much that there's almost nothing visible anymore. I just took the photos, took the lenses out (and put others in, double vision and dryness gone!) and decided to never wear these again. I don't know if these were just a bad pair, and if so, that's the first time I had a bad experience with lenses again. I don't recommend wearing lenses when they irritate your eye at all, your eyes are super sensitive parts of your body! But it wasn't a really bad experience for me, I still had like 17 other pairs in my life which were perfectly fine and never irritated my eyes in any way. So I just figure it was this one pair.
**** UPDATE: The replacement pair that Uniqso provided me were really comfortable! So don't worry at all about purchasing these lenses *****

Shipping:
Their shipping costs $5 for DHL Global Mail, which is estimated in 15-20 working days, and the shipping for DHL Express is $15. It's a lot more expensive, but the item usually arrives within one or two weeks! I've never had any problems with German customs by the way, so I never had to pay anything extra on top of that - and German customs are really strict usually.

Natural bright daylight!
So, this is really the first time I had to give a bad review unfortunately q.q I really hate to do this but I always give my honest opinion and thoughts! Since a lot of my old circle lenses went bad because I had them for a year now, I start to search for some perfect dolly everyday lenses again. What do you think about all that? I think these lenses would be suitable for more daily looks. :)
ReplyDeleteRegarding the comfort it sounds to me like you might very well have received a defective pair! If I were you I would have asked the store for a replacement pair. Defective lenses can happen with any lens brand and any store, although it is unfortunate when it happens. Luckily it's fairly rare though.
