Uniqso Review ♥ Barbie Nudy Pink ♥ Circle lenses on light eyes

Hey sweeties!

Today I got another review from uniqso.com for you! I realized I've never tried out pink circle lenses before, so I wanted to give them a shot for some super sweet looks. You know it - pink is my love, pink is my life.

Short summary: What are Circle Lenses?

Circle Lenses are like usual contact lenses, just that their diameter is larger than the regular ones. Soft contact lenses are around 13,8 mm in diameter - Circle Lenses (which are btw always soft so they can contain more water) are often 14 mm, 15 mm or more. This makes your eyes look bigger and dollier. You can also play around with different designs and colours, so you have a great variety for makeup looks or cosplay characters. I personally wear them to enlarge my eyes because I think it looks cuter with the bold makeup I wear daily. Furthermore, they often have prescription, so if you're just as blind as me, you don't have to wear glasses, and they last about a year.

About Uniqso

Uniqso has a reeeally huge range of circle lenses, wigs, lashes, socks and cosplay items. They are founded in Malaysia and guide their shop since 2011. With over 800 different lenses from different brands like Kimchi, EOS, I.Fairy or Beuberry they are a big company with a lot of featured bloggers. I think they have really cheap prices and I heard that their wigs have a good quality as well. Moreover, their packaging is adorable, which is perfect for me since I love cute packagings so much. I buy my Circle Lenses from Uniqso since 2012 now and I can honestly say that they never let me down.

What's included in your package from uniqso? You'll get your lenses in two glass lens bottles, one free circle lens case in a random color and a cute little gift box that everything is wrapped in! The only thing you'll have to buy is some lens solution for soft contact lenses (you don't need anything fancy or special) - I always buy mine for super cheap at my local drugstore. If you have sensitive eyes I'd also recommend eye drops, that's it!

Prescription - Their circle lenses also often come in diopters. If you have bad eyes like me and you're shortsighted, you don't need to wear glasses anymore with those babies on. I'd just recommend going to the eye doctor to check if you are able to wear contact lenses at all, because you can't wear them if you have astigmatism! Then you'd need special lenses ♥

On the left side is the backside of the lens. The black outer ring is a little lighter and pinkish than the black ring of the lens on the right side. That's always an indication if you wear it correctly or not.

Review and Rating

Design and Color:
To be honest, I'm not super happy about the color. They don't really show up on my light blue eyes, even though I really wished for that! They look bright and shiny in the stock pictures, but less in real life. I have no clue how they might look on dark eyes though, either you can see the color even less, or it appears a little more pink because dark eyes are like a "canvas" for the pink (if that makes sense). Positives: They are giant, huge and super dolly, which I absolutely love. So all in all I think they are kinda fun to wear when you want to have a little bit of unusual color and dolly makeup at the same time. I just don't think they'd fit for cosplays where bright pink eyes are needed. I still felt cute in my makeup, but I just wished for more pink! 5/10 ♥

Comfortability:
They are okay I think! Not the most comfortable, but still wearable for a couple of hours without making my eyes too dry. I wore them for about 6 hours that day, even with 3 hours of computer work (which makes my eyes go dry super super fast), and I still felt okay. That's why I'll give them a 8/10 ♥!

Price:
$16.90 is more on the cheap side of circle lenses, which is great! The price range from uniqso's lenses are often around $16 - $23, so I'll give it a plain 10/10 ♥.

Uniqso and Shipping:
Uniqso's customer service is on top as always. They are really nice to me and reply in a timely manner. I've never had any issues so far, so I'm happy! Their shipping costs $5 for DHL Global Mail, which is estimated in 15-20 working days, and the shipping for DHL Express is $15. It's a lot more expensive, but the item usually arrives within one or two weeks! I've never had any problems with German customs by the way, so I never had to pay anything extra on top of that - and German customs are really strict usually.

Overall: 6/10 ♥

So sweeties, I really hope you enjoyed this review! How do you like my new photo setup? I will definitely change it a little in the next days or weeks because I'll have to move some furniture in the room soon, but I already like it a lot. Moreover, I think I'll edit my pictures a little lighter again, since I'm working with another computer my colors are all really different and I had a really hard time editing them how I wanted them to be.
